Jo  enjoyed a few days in Nevis courtesy of the island’s tourist board. This was a trip filled with historical places of interest, stunning natural surroundings, fresh seafood, plenty of rum punch and fun facts about the island.

Wherever you are on Nevis, nothing is more than about 20 minutes away, making it quick and convenient to get out and about! Continue reading “Trip diary: Jo explores Nevis”

Trip diary: Island hopping in the Grenadines

I recently set off on my first trip to the Caribbean, travelling as part of a group on an island hopping journey through St Vincent and the Grenadines, courtesy of the nation’s tourist board. We travelled southwards through the islands, visiting Young Island (just off the coast of St Vincent), Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Petit St Vincent and finally Palm Island. Having spent such a lot of time reading and writing about these beautiful destinations, I was eager to see them for myself!
